This design increases footprint rigidity, enhancing grip during acceleration and braking on dry surfaces. The tire also features shoulder grooves and circumferential channels that allow water to flow through the tread, reducing the risk of hydroplaning and improving wet traction. Internally, the tire is constructed with twin steel belts for strength and durability, supported by a polyester cord body. Limited sizes of the P Zero Nero All Season tire offer the option of Pirelli Noise Cancelling System. This system involves the addition of a sound-absorbing foam layer to the tire's inner liner, reducing cabin noise inside the vehicle.
