By relaying tire temperature and pressure information to a console-mounted receiver, the system offers real-time adjustment advice based on vehicle handling and track conditions. This tire is like having a personal Michelin tire engineer with you every time you go to the track. The Pilot® Sport Cup 2 Connect (240) features an asymmetric tread design with Michelin's Bi-Compound Technology. The outer shoulder has a High Molecular Chain tread rubber for exceptional grip in corners, while the center ribs and inner shoulder utilize a high-silica compound for excellent wet traction and braking performance. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts with hybrid aramid and nylon reinforcement, providing improved handling and stability. The polyester casing offers a balance between ride comfort and responsive handling, while the high modulus rubber compound in the bead enhances lateral stiffness for sporty responsiveness and precision steering. Additionally, the outer sidewall of the tire incorporates MICHELIN® Premium Touch Technology, which uses nano laser engraving to create a velvety texture and contrasting shades of black.
