The G-MAX AS-07 is an Ultra High Performance All-Season tire developed by General Tire for sporty sedans, crossovers, SUVs, and light trucks. It is designed to provide excellent handling and is suitable for various weather conditions, including light snow. The tire has a performance-oriented compound that is molded into an asymmetric tread pattern. This allows for adaptable year-round performance. It has a strong center rib that provides responsive steering and a solid on-center feel. The wide outboard tread blocks ensure maximum grip during high-speed cornering. To prevent hydroplaning, the tire has a system of circumferential grooves that redirect water from the contact patch when driving on wet roads. Additionally, the tire is built to withstand cold temperatures, thanks to its all-season compound and siping that provide the necessary traction for snow. Internally, the G-MAX AS-07 has a polyester body casing that extends into a high turn-up in the sidewall. This provides additional reinforcement and stability, particularly at high speeds.
