Sailun Group, founded in 2002 within the National Economic and Technological Development Zone in Qingdao, China, quickly gained prominence with its tire brand, Sailun Tyre. Emerging as the 12th largest tire manufacturer globally, Sailun Tyre has become the 11th most valuable tire brand and is recognized as the fastest-growing brand in the industry, as per the Tyrepress Global Manufacturer Rankings and the latest Brand Finance report. The company boasts a diverse range of tire offerings, spanning passenger cars, light trucks/SUVs, winter tires, commercial vans, and medium radial trucks. Sailun's market reach extends across North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. Beyond tire manufacturing, Sailun is actively involved in developing advanced and cost-effective tire building platforms. The company operates four tire factories, with three located in China (Qingdao, Shenyang, and Dongying) and the fourth in Vietnam, which has recently commenced production of truck tires. The total annual production capacity stands at 37 million passenger car tires, 9 million truck tires, and 119,000 off-the-road (OTR) tires. The Qingdao factory, covering 40,000m², produces 10 million car tires and 2.6 million truck tires annually, with an additional 82,144 OTR tires. Shenyang's factory, at 380,000m², focuses on truck and bus radials, producing 1.8 million truck tires annually. In Dongying, Sailun's Dawang and Guangrao product lines, covering 300,000m², yield 18.7 million car tires and 3.35 million truck tires per year. The Vietnam factory, with a vast area of 600,000m², has the potential for increased production, currently manufacturing 8.5 million car tires, 1.2 million truck tires, and nearly 37,000 OTR tires.
